S Files

The S rotary file system is composed of files manufactured from NiTi alloy with CM Thermal Treatment and varied designs specific to particular functions, enhancing both safety and efficiency. It provides secure, easy-to-apply, and cost-effective solutions for daily practice.

It is a simple sequence composed of 4 files: 2 Orifice Shapers, 1 apical patency file, and 1 finishing file.

It eliminates the use of Gates Glidden drills. This system can also be used in reciprocating motion.

• The S files feature a simple visual coding system that ensures quick identification of which file should be used at each stage of the proposed sequence;
• For enhanced safety, the recommended sequence should be followed so that the load on each instrument is proportional to its design capacity.
• The system consists of 4 (four) different instruments that should be used sequentially to: widen the canal entrance and navigate the beginning of the root canal (#.30/10); deepen the pathway toward the apex (#.25/08); achieve patency (#.25/01); and finish the canal shaping (#.25/06);

#.25/08 – Triple Helix Cross-Section
#.25/01 – Quadruple Helix Cross-Section
• #.25/06 – Triple Helix Cross-Section;
• Lengths: 21 mm, 25 mm, and 31 mm;
• Speed: 350 to 900 RPM.
